Construction and Materials

Body and Pressure Retaining Parts

  • ASTM A351 CF8M
  • ASTM A182 F316
  • ASTM A182 F316L

Internal Components

  • Disc: ASTM A182 F316 / F316L
  • Stem: ASTM A182 F316 / F316L
  • Seat Ring: Stainless Steel with Stellite overlay

Sealing System

  • Packing: Graphite (low temperature compatible)
  • Gasket: Spiral wound stainless steel with graphite filler
  • Backseat: Integral backseat design to minimize stem leakage

Functional Design

Cryogenic Globe Valve is designed for precise flow regulation and throttling in ultra-low temperature applications. The extended bonnet design ensures that the stem packing area remains outside the cryogenic zone, preventing freezing and maintaining sealing integrity.

The globe configuration enables accurate control of flow and pressure, making it suitable for systems where modulation is required. The valve maintains dimensional stability and sealing performance under extreme thermal contraction conditions.
