Operating Principle of Dual Plate Check Valve:

Dual Plate Check Valve is engineered with two spring-loaded discs mounted on a central hinge pin to provide automatic reverse flow prevention. During forward flow, the discs open with minimal cracking pressure, allowing smooth fluid passage and reduced pressure loss. As the flow decreases or reverses, the spring mechanism rapidly closes both plates before reverse flow develops, minimizing water hammer and protecting pumps, compressors, and pipelines. The compact wafer design requires minimal installation space while providing reliable sealing performance for high-pressure and high-cycle industrial services.
